"Both my children attended Butler Camp and loved it, this is our second year there. The warm atmosphere, organization, hands-on staff and small groups made this experience smooth and seamless. Each child was welcomed and felt very comfortable and loved. The children enjoyed the outdoor explorations, zip line, and obstacle course, crafts, team-building games, swimming in the pool, and dipping in the creek. We highly recommend it if your child enjoys being outdoors!" ~ Lilach

Whether it’s swimming, hiking, crafts and games, archery, fishing, wilderness skills, camping, or canoeing, there’s something fun to make memories your child will treasure for years to come.
We’re committed to the health and safety of our campers. In 2020, we completely redesigned all our camp sessions to incorporate current safety measures and recommendations.
As one parent said, “We felt very safe with the COVID measures in place.”
Butler Camp is the best outdoor camp in the area even in the times of COVID. You saved our summer thank you!
~ Margaret K., 2020 Camp Parent
When your child joins Butler Camp, they become part of our intimate community where everyone knows their name and cheers them on. You’ll feel confident dropping them off with our highly trained, nurturing staff. All activities are supervised by our mature, well-trained, carefully-screened and certified counselors. We look after your children as if they were our own.
Campers not only enjoy fun adventures but also learn valuable life skills. From building forest shelters to identifying edible plants, campers develop wilderness skills and a respect for nature. Children leave here more confident about their skills and willing to try new things. They’ve learned about teamwork, leadership and how to take care of themselves and the environment.
We’re so much more than a camp. We’re a place where children can learn about and experience nature. Each session campers explore hiking trails, learn wilderness skills and practice environmental stewardship. They leave with a deeper respect and understanding of our outdoor world. Not only is exploring nature fun, it also has a positive impact on a child’s intellectual, emotional, social and physical development.
