I loved that it gave them more of an appreciation for the outdoors/nature and gave them a space to just be kids.
The counselors/staff were caring and attentive, while encouraging them to try new things. I saw why many of our neighbors send their kids here, and we will certainly be signing up next year - ideally for more than one session."

Butler Equestrian Camp offers a progressive summer equestrian program based on each rider’s age and ability. Our goal is to develop well-rounded equestrians in a fun and safe environment.
The high-demand two-week Equestrian sessions will be divided between Beginner and Intermediate programs.
Beginner Riders: From no experience to comfortable trotting on their own.
Intermediate Riders: Can groom and tack their horse on their own, can halter and tie their own mount, and do no stirrup work. Your child must be confident in all of these skills to be eligible to participate in the Intermediate level program. If your child is enrolled in the wrong program, we may not be able to switch to the beginner level if it is full.

"My daughter had an amazing time at Butler Camp. She came home every day, excited and exhausted. She told stories of swimming, hiking to a creek, ropes elements, and a cookout.
She is not someone who is particularly adventurous or active, and yet the way that the camp counselors pushed her to try new things while respecting her boundaries was incredible.
She has attended a number of different camps in her life, including outdoor camps, sleepaway, gymnastics, arts, etc., and this was by far the best camp experience she's ever had.
After care was perfect for my work schedule, and they even got to swim in the pool a second time. It was such a joy and we highly recommend.
